Not able to subscribe Streaming API from Work bench, getting exception "Uncaught Illegal state: already disconnected"

I have created Push Topics by following steps given in developer guide, while subscribing it into workbench it is not allowing to subscribe and also given error in browser console as follow :- 
 "Uncaught Illegal state: already disconnected".

Please help

Hi Ranjit,

It seems version 37.0 or more of the API doesn't work well with streaming. Could you please switch to version 36.0 of the API.
