Custom search functionality in lightening component.

Need to create custom search, like "global search in salesforce" in lightening component? I have searched on many site but didn't get any suitable stuff. please help.

Just like we have global search in our salesforce org.
The same thing, same search box, search results what it will give we need to display it on component.
