Custom button not displaying on Search Results layout

Hi, I have a custom button that opens a visualforce page. I have successfully added this button to the custom object List View. However, I really really need to be able to add it to the Search Results layout. It seems to let me add it, but I can't see it after performing a Search. Help!

Hi,

Just click on the "Licenses" item under "Records". The buttons appear only for the single selected object type but not for the all "Records" list (default).

Thank you Alain, clicking on the License item did the trick and the button showed up!
