Converting a Lead to Contact Complicated Process

Long story short - previous admin over engineered the Convert Lead to Contact/Account Process many of the moving pieces of it are begining to fail.  Is there a way to completely turn all this off and revert back to the standard SalesForce conversion process?

Hi Christine,

To revert the process back, you will need to analyze if the previous admin are utilizing:
- Workflow Rules / Process Builders on Lead
- Triggers on Lead

Once you figure them out, you can disable those components and configure Lead to use the standard process.

Can you provide below information on your lead object here?
1. go to setup-> customize-> lead -> trigggers
2. go to setup-> customize-> lead -> Validation Rules
3. go to setup-> customize-> lead -> Record types

for process builders and workflows you need to find them in setup -> quick search and then sort them on object to find lead related entries and provide there here.
