Data Migration and Foreign languages

Hello,

I am curious to know, if I have a custom picklist translated from English to Chinese, can I use the Chinese value in a data migration and have it recognize the proper picklist selection in my SFDC?  This will save me from having to translate migration data back to English before the load.

Thanks,
T

Hello,

You can use Translation workbench for this.

Hi TK, the translations are already done.  My question is:  Can the translated value (in this case Chinese) be used to upload/migrated data in, and not use the original English value, for the picklist to find the correct value?  Otherwise, we would have to make sure all picklist values come in as English instead of the translated language.
