Unable to create a new Calendar in my Partner Developer Edition org

I'm building a Custom Object that takes advantage of the "Calendar Everything" feature of SF, but it looks like I don't have the ability to create a calendar at all. For some reason I am unable to see the gear icon that allows me to create a calendar.

Hi Michael D Flotron,

Please consider below points

1.Make sure you ar Admin.

2.This option is available only in Enterprise, Unlimited and Developer Edition.

3.Try in a different browser may be chrome.

4.An Administrator will need to check if they have created a shared calendar by going into:

Setup | Customize | Activities | Public Calendars and Resources

If there is none. They may create one, the minimum level of access needs to be Show Details.

Please refer below knowledge article from salesforce for the same.

Hope this helps you!

If this helps you, please mark it as solved so that it will be available for others as a proper solution.

Thanks and Regards
Sandhya

hi guys, i have the same problem. I'm Sys Admin and have created Public Calendars and shared it with respective users. However neither I nor any of those users can see the "gear" icon next to My Calendars. Has anyone had any luck on this? Thanks!

Hi Michele! Just contact SF support or Log a Support Case about this. They need to switch it on for you. =)
