Hi Sridhar,

Compact Layout:

 Default Compact Layout cannot be customized. If you want to customize the fields on compact layout then try to create a new compact layout and then assign that layout.

Please check the below link on compact Layout in TrailHead for reference. I hope it will be helpful.
