Hi Antony,

The custom fields contained in a managed package publicly posted on AppExchange don't count against the limits for your Salesforce Edition.

Additional:
You can see %used in 'Object Limits' section on custom object. Setup -> Create -> Objects -> Select the Custom object -> Scroll to bottom.
For standard object you can check it in limits section. Setup -> Customize -> Select Standard object -> Limits
