Hi,

I am getting error as below in Lightning Experience Rollout Specialist Challenge #8

The Lightning Knowledge app doesn't have the ability to view either or both: recently-visited primary tabs or subtabs.

Could any one please suggest me?

Hi Surya,

Add history utility when creating the app a step called utility bar.

This will solve the issue.

Now i am getting other error as below
The Org Home home page must include these 5 components only: 1. Chatter Feed, 2. Today's Tasks, 3. Upcoming Events, 4. Recent Records, 5. Recent Items.

I have added all the components. Please find the screenshot below

Hi Surya,

The error itself is suggesting that there are some components missing in the org home page.

Please find the below components to be added to the org home page which are missing in the above screenshot.
  • Chatter Feed
  • Upcoming Events
  • Recent Records
Also, please remove the below components from the org home page which are not required.
  • Today's Events
  • Latest Posts
  • Archived Articles
This should help you pass the challenge.

Hi Nagendra, When i am adding the chatter feed, it is displaying as Latest Posts. And i am adding Filtered list to display Recent Records. But the challenge is not yet completed. Can you please help me to resolve this.

Hi Surya,

To Add the Recent Records to Home page, select the SmartScope Recent Records component from the component list.
this is help to clear the error.

Hi, 

The error message below mentions that 'Upcoming Events' needs to be present on home page layout - but this component is not available. Can someone please clarify?

The Org Home home page must include these 5 components only: 1. Chatter Feed, 2. Today's Tasks, 3. Upcoming Events, 4. Recent Records, 5. Recent Items.

I am still getting the error: "The Lightning Knowledge app doesn't have the ability to view either or both: recently-visited primary tabs or subtabs." Though it seems to me that both recently-visited primary tabs and subtabs are visible in the History utility at the bottom of my app. Any suggestions on fixing this?

@christinemoore I got the same issue, I see the History list the same as you, but still get the error message. Maybe some release issue since Winter 18?

I am also getting the error "The Lightning Knowledge app doesn't have the ability to view either or both: recently-visited primary tabs or subtabs." But I alreay have the History Component on my Utility Bar. What else could this error be caused by? I need to complete this trail in two days and am really stuck here.

@christinemorre, @mauritsvanGeenhuize, @reillyweellis, @gracecosta, I had the same issue, error: "The Lightning Knowledge app doesn't have the ability to view either or both: recently-visited primary tabs or subtabs." 

I fought with it for several hours trying many combinations, variations and deleting the app and recreating it.
I finally created a new trailhead org and just did step 8 and it worked.
Your answers are probably correct, something is preventing Trailhead from recognizing it. Don't give up!

@Brooks Stamper, I added Today´s Tasks component instead of 'Upcoming Events' (not available) and it worked. Good luck !

For #3 (Upcoming events) I added "Today's Events" component and it worked!

I intinally change the label of home page so it passed my error of org home page but later on I am unable to pass the error "The Org Home home page must include these 5 components only: 1. Chatter Feed, 2. Today's Tasks, 3. Upcoming Events, 4. Recent Records, 5. Recent Items.".

Later I created new Org home page and able to pass the challenge
