Hyperlink in Sales Console to open new tab or subtab without Javascript ?

Hi All,

With salesforce deprecating the support for Javascript from HYPERLINK functions for formula fields (Winter 18), is there a way/work around to support hyperlink formulas to open new tab in sales console?

I tried using visualforce page to handle the redirect, but the it is not working the same.

Hi Rahul, 

Thanks for the inputs, our current solution is implemented using javascript in hyperlink function on formula text field. But since Salesforce is going to deprecate the support for Javascript from Oct 31, 2017, we are trying achieve desired result using intermediatary VF page as suggested by Salesforce. But this VF page is breaking Sales Console behavior.
