Role and Permission

Hi Expert,

i have a one user with Role "Manager", Now this user(manager role) not able to edit "Contract object fields". Can you please suggest how this user will able to edit the contract object fields.

Hi Mukhesh,

Please check the user Profile if it is having the FLS permisions on Contract object.

Hi Mukesh,
If he is not able to edit a field,then only object level permission is to be checked.Check at that particular user profile and permission and see if he has provision to edit contract object
I dont think role will come into picture in this aspect.
Role is only concerned with record level security.
