Site.forgotpassword() is not working in lightning component

I am using boolean success = Site.forgotPassword(userName); method in my lightning component to send reset password link to community user while user changes their user name. Unfortunatly i am unable to get the mail to reset my password .

Hi Kumar

May be Salesforce does not send the reset email when you are previewing the page in Salesforce but when you will open the page in Force.com Site / Community / Customer Portal and then reset the password then it will send you a reset email if everything is fine.
