I don't see New Flow button for creating a flow.

In Process Automation, Module 2. I don't see the New Flow button for creating a new flow. I see New in Process Builder and New Email Alert for Email Alert, but not New Flow.

Thanks. I was using this module: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/modules/business_process_automation/units/flow (the one you list above).

Here is what I see:

Using Module 1, I was able to complete the module by clicking Setup, getting to Process Builder and choosing New to create a new process. I used a similar process to get to Flows. As you can see, in Flows I do not have the New Flow shown in your image.

My screen looks different than yours on the left pane and across the top.
Let's back up. When I started, I was here and chose Setup on the upper right.

The next screen I got had Users, Data, Email, Platform Tools on the left pane. I could enter Flows in the Quick Find box or open Process Automation and click on Flows. Both gave me the same screen.

Not sure why my view is different and what to do to see what you have.

Thanks again for your help.

Ok  Interesting. You are using the Lighthning version and above all, you are using a real sandbox.
That is the problem because you are not allowed to create flows with the org you are using currently.

Profile: Manage Force.com - Allows the user to use Force.com flows.  could be unchecked for you (and that is impossible with a free developer org).  https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000198725&type=1

We never use a real sandbox (even a trial version)  to complete hands on challenges.

We only use free developer orgs and trailhead playgrounds.

You should start by this module:

Create a Trailhead Playground:  A Trailhead playground is an org you can use to complete hands on challenges, and try out new features and customizations. Much like a real playground, a Trailhead playground lets you play around and make customizations without impacting anything else (in this case, your production org).

Thanks for this insight. Early next week, I'll proceed with this and see what happens. Fingers crossed.

I found a playground set up for me under my profile settings. As soon as I open that, I see the right UI. Thank you very much for your help!
