Hi,
i have created one duplicate rule on Account for Email uniqueness. But when i try to save an account record with duplicate email am recieving anunexpected error as follows. Pls go through follwing screenshots for rsference.

I tried a similar rule in my salesforce, it worked fine. I set the rule to check for duplicate phone numbers similar to how you checked for duplicate emails. The error in the screen shot states that you missed a required filed, please make sure that all the required fields are populated in the page before saving.
If the error still continues, please share any extra info that you have.
