Filter logic not working for Duplicate Rule

Has anybody ran into the issue of Filter logic not working when creating a duplicate rule?

I have noticed that the Filter Logic will apply "AND" logic for the rule criteria even if "OR" is specified. In other words, even though the Filter Logic says "OR", all rule criteria must be true for the rule to run.

@Thomas - The OR operator requires any one of the conditions to be met for the criteria to be evaluated to true. Even if the first condition is met the rule will evaluate to true however AND would require all the 3 conditions to hold true and only then the criteria will be met. I believe you might want to check for logical errors. Other thing you may want to check for if the values being used for qualification in the criteria, are the same as the ones that you have on the records.

One of the approaches you could use to troubleshoot would be to remove all the criteria. First test with each condition individually and check the result set returned. Then start adding conditions together one after another and check for the result set being returned. This should give youa fair idea of the behaviour.

If you could share the exact business use case then I might be able to direct you to the appropriate criteria.

Hello, yes I am aware that "OR" only requires one of the criteria to be true. However, I believe there is a bug where "OR" logic isn't working correctly when applying Filter Logic to duplicate rules. I have tested this to be true; I was wondering if others noticed the same thing.

Yup, I am also facing the same issue. In filter Logic OR is not working fine. Could you please tell me whats the changeshave  to do, so that, OR works fine in the filter logic of Duplicate Rules.

One great examination, I thought, merits another. I as of late analyzed CaliBurger, the In-N-Out imitator that opened in Columbia, to the popular chain out west. That practice https://yourservices.info/ definitely brought up an issue pertinent to a lot more ground-meat sweethearts: Which of the steadily growing chains, Five Guys or In-N-Out, produces the better frying pan burger?
