Question on Global Search

Hi Team, I have a queston on Global Search , as per our business process when a User search with an Account Name, it should only display the account and NOT related Contacts. Currently when we do a Global Search with Account Name,its displaying related contacts of that Account as well. 

Please let me know how we can fix this?

Hi Antony,

You can try removing "Account" in search layout in Contact object. 

Setup --> Contact --> Search Layout --> Remove account.

This works for Lookup Dialogue, never tried with Global search, but you could try it.
