Edward Phillips I need to change the name of an Apex Trigger.
This trigger is entitled Opportunity Trigger
sateesh m 2Go and change it in the Dev Console or You can change from the UI by searching APEX TRIGGERS in the Quick access Menu and edit the required trigger.
Type Opportunities in the left hand side Quick Menu, you can select Opportunities from there, and in its sub menu you can select Triggers. Then you can select the trigger which you would like to edit. Here is a screenshot which shows you how to access the Triggers from Opportunities -
The name change is only possible in sandbox correct?
sateesh m 2Yes, deploy trigger from prod to sandbox. change the trigger name in sandbox and deploy from sandbox to prod using changeset.
