The 'Opportunities by Type' report does not include the Amount column.
Added Amount column ino the report but it still throws this error.

Go to Reports tab click on 'Opportunities by Type' and refresh it.(This worked for me).
Go to Reports tab and try to run the report for 'Opportunities by Type' and see if you have Amount column and also make sure that it is the summary report.

Thanks for your post, but i tried all possible ways to fix the issue but it aint works.
Then I would suggest you try in new DE org.You can still have your badges and points in the same account please refer below link.
