Change the Running user for dashboard?

Hi Friends,

Created dashbord on lighting in production org and the running user for that dashboard is inactive now. So when i am trying to open dashboard now using admin user it was showing error (the dashboard running user is inactive). Is there any way to change dashboard running user

I checked  for all the permission which are required to change running user and given to profile but still i am unable to change running user in both salesforce classic & Lighting Exp

Please help me if you know the solution for this

Thanks
Shiva

Hi Shiva pendem,

In order to edit the dashboard to change the running user, type "/e" (without the quotation marks) at the end of the URL in the address bar of your browser. This will put you into "edit" mode of the dashboard, where you can make any changes.

Please refer below links for the same.

Hello,

I'm running in the exact situation. I tried adding ''/e'' to be able to edit the dashboard but it doesn't work. It brings me to a page that says:

Insufficient Privileges
You do not have the level of access necessary to perform the operation you requested. Please contact the owner of the record or your administrator if access is necessary. For more information, see Insufficient Privileges Errors.

However, I am an admin on the domain, and I don't know what privileges could be missing to edit this specific dashboards or to create new ones.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,

Mathieu

Try switching into Lightning and you will be able to view another user
