I am not sure if I should enable Lightning Experience. I'm going through the trails, mods, etc to learn Salesforce in a Developer org, but am unclear as to the difference and whether to switch. So far, the trails seems compatible w/Salesforce Classic.

Did you run the Lightning Readiness Report for your org? The report details everything in your org and shows if components (Buttons, visualforce etc) are compatible with Lightning Experience or not. Depending on number of components/feature not compatible with lightning in your org  you can make the decision.

You can access it from Setup >> Lightning Experience (on the top in your setup sidebar)

Thanks for the reply. However, I do not have an actual organization (I have a DE) . I am teaching myself Salesforce. Therefor, I am not "concerned" with the compatibility. More curious as to whether it will be ebenficial to switch over for my personal training/learning though Trailheads.
