Customize knowledge article layout in Communities?

I would like to customize the article type layout that is used when a Knowledge article is viewed in a community.

I know how to do this for the standard Knowledge interface in Salesforce, but not in communities.  Can anyone point me to documentation or let me know how to get started?

Thanks,
Jenna

Hi,

Salesforce provides knowledge one widget which looks far better from a clasic view of knowledge articles.

On profile seaarch for knowledge one check box, for more details:
https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=knowledge_widget_setup.htm&type=0

Hope this helps

Thanks, but that doesn't answer my question.  I need to modify the article type layout that appears within a Salesforce community.  Does anyone know how to do that?

I'm looking to do the same thing. We have custom visualforce pages for each article type. Our community handles the search and generates links to the custom pages, but any links via chatter notification still point directly to the standard article layout.

Hi Jenna 1982,

We can not modify the Article Type page layout specifically for Community.
Whatever layout we have defined for Article Types,  same will shown in the community.
