Automatically adding emails to contact in salesforce

Is there a way to automatically add emails in outlook to contact in salesforce as attachments?

Hi Priyanka,

Yes,this is possible.

You will have to set up your Salesforce for Outlook first. You will initially have to install it and then set up your configuration. You will then need to migrate your data from your Outlook into Salesforce so that both systems are mirroring each other. If a Contact is not recognized in Salesforce from Outlook, it doesn't know what to do with it and places it in the 'My unresolved items' list. Once all that is done you will be able to click a button when sending an email from Outlook, that will place the email in your contact record in SF. More information on Salesforce for Outlook here:  Aside from Salesforce for Outlook, you can also use Email to Salesforce, which is really all Salesforce for Outlook is using anyway so you don't even need Salesforce for Outlook installed unless you also want to sync Contacts, etc.  You can use Email to Salesforce with ANY email client, e.g. your iPhone, Apple Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, etc. Kindly mark this post as solved if the information help's so that it gets removed from the unanswered queue and becomes a proper solution which results in helping others who are really in need of it.

Best Regards,
