Salesforce for outlook

Hi All,

I want to use "Salesforce for outlook". I downloaded the setup file from my Salesforce org and installed in my laptop. While, I'm doing the sync with Outlook 2010 with Salesforce, I can't able to sync my objects. I'm getting an error message, saying "IT'S NEED TO CONNECTED WITH MICROSOFT EXCHANGE SERVER". What i'm missing here, I have enclosed the below error image. Thanks in advance!

Was Outlook open when you launched this?  The image is exactly what you'd see if Outlook wasn't open.

Yeah, Outlook was opened!!
After opening the Outlook, I right clicked and selected settings option from the Outlook for Salesforce Desktop App. Then, a new window pops up with Salesforce authentication Outlook. Once the authentication was successful, I face a new window (ref: check the above image) with Microsoft exchange server error.

If you are usig IMAP or POP3 it isn't supported.
