"AvailableFields in FieldSet is not editable for your organization."

I am trying to deploy a GitHub repo through Eclipse into a sandbox. One of the custom objects throws the above error. What can I do to prevent this?

Hi Gaurav,

I did see that post. I am deploying to an EE org. Does this mean that I need to remove the FieldSet? I have deployed the contents of this repo before, as a managed package, and had no error. It is no longer a managed package since we have parted with our development partners.

Thanks,
Liz

Hi Liz,

Please try removing the fields from Field set and try again.

Thanks,

Gaurav

Hi Guarav,

I have done that and I get a host of new errors. That Field Set is referenced in other pieces of code.

Best,
Liz

Hi Liz,

Can we remove fields from the fieldset rather deleting field set.

Thanks,
Gaurav

@Liz Gibbons, Gaurav helped you resolve an issue but you did not bother to mark his answer as best answer. He gave you free support but you did not help him with a single click.
