There are different apps in AppExchange that already do it. Could you use any of them? For instance I saw this one (https://zapier.com/zapbook/linkedin/salesforce/).  If you want to create it by yourself, I also found this post (https://developer.salesforce.com/forums/?id=906F0000000AYDXIA4) with more information.
