I created a formula field on A object to fetch some values from B object (Master (B) Detail (A) relationship). After creating it I went to check how the formula field is displaying after creating some records but it's missing, but it shows in page layout.

Please check if you are checking the corresponding layout assigned to your profile.  Check if your profile has access to that field.
