Hi All, I've Created a Teacher Tab and created one text field named as "Teacher Name" but its showing two textfields why?

Hi friends and devs, I created a Text field named Teacher Name but it's showing two text fields with the name "Teacher name"... BTW I have checked the box that that field should be a must.

Hi Vamsi,

While creating an object You will have a section as shown below which will create a new field or autonumber field as per our selection. If you dont select any by default it will take Name. 

This field is always a required when you create a record.

Thanks for the reply Praveen, But I have already given values in that field like Record Name: "Student Name" and Data Type: "Text"
Is there any other thing I can do to remove one name field?

First delete its related records after that you can delete this field

Hello! Perhaps the problem is that when you created the Teacher tab, you accidentally added two text fields with the same name "Teacher Name". Check your form or template settings to make sure the text field is only added once. I just deal with errors in texts, especially looking for them from top writers, I use https://edubirdie.com/top-writers for this. If the issue persists, try recreating the Teacher tab with a single text field and make sure you save the changes. If difficulties persist, please contact the platform developers or technical support for further assistance.
