Unable to edit events on other users calendar without any related object

Hi,
I am trying to give a user the create, edit, and delete permission for events on other users' calendars.
The user has the standard user profile and has the Salesforce license.
The user is able to create, edit and delete the events on other users' calendars if the event has a related object. But unable to edit or delete if the event does not have a related object.
I think this is something which not yet possible in salesforce as the same problem is faced by many other users- https://trailblazer.salesforce.com/ideaView?id=08730000000gVPCAA2.
Is there a workaround to get this implemented?

Thanks in advance.

HI Parish,
You can try using the Public Calendar on Classic User Interface as a workaround.

1) Go to set-up, type Public Calendars and Resources on quick find search box.
2) Click New and indicate the name and tick the "Active" checkbox
3) Once save, click "sharing" and you may click add to add the users that you want to shared with.
4) You may choose Calendar Access to have it "Full Access"
5) Once shared, the user can now change the view of Calendar by switching it to Public Calendars and Resources.

Hope this helps you. Please mark this answer as best so that others facing the same issue will find this information useful. Thank you
