How do I add an action similar to edit and delete to the list view for each and every record?

Hi Sibil,

You can achieve this just follow these steps:

Go to setup-> Selec Object Manager Tab->Select any object where you want to show custom action->in left side You will see Button link and actions click on that->Click on New Action->then fill all required values,in target object select that object where you want to show custom action,and also select record type as master as you want to show this custom section everywhere->save .

Then agan select object manager tab and select object ->then in left side you can see page layout option->In all page layout add that newly created custom action,for this click on mobile and lightning action and drag your new created custom action in Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section.

see I have created this new custom action 'test' ,and it is visible here.

Make sure you are following steps and maybe you haven't added this action toh pagelayout,that why you are not able to see it.
