Can any one help me to retrieve the below scenario

I am trying open one application for example "LAMIES"  in Lightning from App launcher but it was opening in Salesforce classic view and if i click on switch to salesforce lightning the app name was switched to another application even though I have given "Lamies" as a default application.

Can any one please let me know the issue.

Hi Pavan,

This could be because you haven't differentiated about Classic Apps and Lightning Apps in Salesforce.

You can upgrade any of your org’s custom Classic apps. If your users make regular use of standard Classic apps, such as the Service or Marketing apps, consider recreating them as Lightning apps. It’s easy to do with the New Lightning App wizard in the App Manager, but check out Create Lightning Apps in Salesforce Help if you want more details.
