when imported data, duplicate rule be activated?

Hi,

while processing trailhead, i suddenly had a question!
when imported data through import wizard, data loader, How do duplicate rules work?

Duplicate rule will work as is with dataloader,import wizard if it matches the creteria mentioned in Duplicate rule.

If you need to bypass then simply deactivate duplicate rule.
