how to pull data from IBM db2 to salesforce?

Hi Team,

I am interested in knowing how to get data from IBM db2 from salesforce platform.
IBM db2 is on mainframe system and accessed using platinum tool in the mainframe systems. Its also accessed using toad.
Any ideas or thoughts from experience would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi,

The easiest way is to use an ETL tool like Talend Open Studio (free) which has the connectors for boh DB2 and Salesforce.

https://www.talend.com/download/

The free versions of Talend work fine but the connectors are sometimes out of date (but still usable) compared with the commercial versions.

Hi Elixir86,

The DBSync's Salesforce and IBM DB2 connector allows you to integrate your favourite applications to streamline
and automate your business processes and ensure that your Salesforce data is accurate, clean and trustworthy.
Using the template provided with this connector you can construct your integration process between Salesforce and
DB2 as per your own unique business model and processes. The connector is bundled with features to create custom
mappings with just few clicks.
