How to increase Character Limits of Task object subject field to increase more than 255?

Can anyone help me to increase character limits of task object subject field from 255 to more .

Hi Gokulnath,

Unfortunately you cant able to increase the character size limit of standard fields in salesforce.
Instead you can create a custom field and use it as alternate way.
