When are validation rules applied when using Salesforce for
Outlook? While saving the record or Every time data is synchronized with the server?

Hi Bindu,

Since this is Salesforce for Outlook and the validation is within Salesforce, I would go with the data being synchronized with the server first. During synchronizations, records modified in Outlook will be reflected in Salesforce, and vice versa.
