Export all data and customizations

Our client needs to shut down its account as it seeks funding. How do I export their data and customizations so that we can recreate everything if/when they are able to come back online?

Hi Matt, 

There are many IDE that will help you to get all the Metadata Level backup. Below is the list
  • Eclipse
  • Visual Studio
  • Mavensmate + Sublime (need to install Mavensmate package in Sublime). 


For data backup: Do export using the following:

  • Dataloader ( directly save on system)
  • Salesforce Extension (Chrome extension --> data export)
