Remove a My Domain name

Hello,

I am contacting support to deactivate the My Domain name from the developer edition org. I am only using it to complete the trailhead required to obtain the security superbadge and would like it reverted back to its original state.

- Original domain name: https://na91.lightning.force.com/lightning/setup/OrgDomain/home (https://na91.lightning.force.com/lightning/setup/OrgDomain/home" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline)

- New domain name: https://trailhead-2019-06-21-dev-ed.lightning.force.com/lightning/setup/DomainNames/home (https://trailhead-2019-06-21-dev-ed.lightning.force.com/lightning/setup/DomainNames/home" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline)

Thank you so much.

We don't have access to deactivate My domain in the org. Please log a case with Salesforce.com support team from Help and Training portal or create a new developer org and complete this challenge. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns."

Is this a Trailhead Playground or a Developer edition org? Post the link to the challenge, if you don't mind?

Hello Apuroop Naldu!

The request is for deactivating a My Domain name from a Developer Edition org.

Here is the Trailhead:

Once the My Domain is enabled, we can not disable it. You can contact the support but it's just a trailhead and a developer edition.

You might already know this but just in case..

Navigate to the bottom of the trailhead - to the challenge >
Click the drop-down box of the trailhead playgrounds and find 'Manage my hands-on org' >
Select the developer org and delete. Create a new one and start over.

This would save you a ton of time. :)

Hello Apuroop Naldu!

Here are the instructions followed:
Navigate to the bottom of the trailhead - to the challenge >
Click the drop-down box of the trailhead playgrounds and find 'Manage my hands-on org' >
Select the developer org and delete. Create a new one and start over.

Here is a screenshot of the dropdown of all orgs from the Trailhead page:

Unfortunately, there is no Developer org in the list - only Playgrounds. I cannot select the developer org and delete it.

What else can be done here?

Create a new developer org here: https://developer.salesforce.com/signup

From the drop-down, choose Log into a Developer Edition. Use the latest org. This should get the challenge completed.

It's strange it doesn't show the dev org. Try logging out and log back in.

Mine works fine:
