Limiting a product selection on custom object based on catalogue chosen in opportunity

Hello, 

I have a product lookup on a custom object.

I want to let user select from products of a particular catalogue only.
this catalogue will be decided by what is choosed bythe related opportunity.

So, if i want to limit a product seledction based on catalogue chosen from opportunity in a custom object,
what are possible options, please .

Hi Sandrine,

You can add a lookup filter to the lookup fields. In this way only those records will be displayed which meets the filter criteria. You can add lookup filter like this Go to Setup -> Custom Objects -> Fields Section -> Select and Edit the Lookup field -> you will see lookup filters option there -> Add the required filters and make the filter optional or required based on your requirement.
