HOUSEHOLD account model Update Contacts accounts

We are switching to the Household account Model
I need to blank out the accounts for all my contacts ( 155k) after which Salesforce will create a new "Household" Account.

What is the best way to do this?

Thanks for taking a look. Could you put a little bit of that information directly in your answer?  Or maybe point out what part is the answer?
My question is about updating the contact for 155k records to use the Household Account Model.

Dan, there is no direct article or blog for your requirement, But the NPSP package may help you.

You can give it a try as mentioned in the above blog.

I am trying the data loader to try to upsert the account to blank and let NPSP do its household creation. Thats the plan at least
