Extract data from Salesforce from external source

Is it possible to set up or get an API for my salesforce org so that other developers can make GET requests to pull data from Salesforce?

I don't think it is possible.

You can raise an Idea in IdeaExcahnge so that it can be implemented in the future.

But I think it can be possible through marketing cloud.

It would be better if you post this query on the Success - Salesforce Marketing Cloud page. so the experts on MC can help:

I hope you find the above information is helpful. If it does, please mark as Best Answer to help others too.

Ok- thank you. So it is only possible to export data from salesforce itself, but not to allow api access to an outside system, is that correct?
