Package Install Failed - Yikes this should have been working a month ago

I'm trying to install this package and I keep getting this error and I have. I have no idea what it means, we don't even have any of these fields on the contact. I'd love any help!

Greetings!

I would suggest you to check with the managed package team "BrightTALK for Salesforce DP-108" regarding the errors since you do not have the fields in your Org.If they are part of the managed package then,they will only be able to assist you on this.

Only the manage package vendor can help you here. In managed package, there is an option(only for the vendor) to specify the APEX class that should be executed as part of the installtion to create the needed data/settings. II think that APEX class is causing the issue.

These errors are the results of you trying to install a package and the package installation is failing because another user is controlling the fields that the package needs access to. 
The vendor cannot do anything because you haven't even touched their domain yet. The package is simply failing to install with no affiliation to the vendor. 

You need to identify which admin user in your Org is controlling these records and remove their access. 

As a test: 

 

Try creating a sandbox salesforce instance and installing the package from the vendor again. This sandbox cannot be a clone of this production instance or you will most likely see the same error. Try to create a net new instance.

If the sandbox works, then there are configurations you need to change in SFDC in order for this package to be installed.

But Hin, it's not possible for anyone to be controlling those fields because they don't even exist...
