Is it possible to drag and drop Files (not Attachments) to the desktop or an email?

Hello,

We have a User who really misses the old ability to drag-and-drop PDF files from the browser into an email program or the desktop. This was possible with Attachments, but with the new Files Preview there is no capability for that. Is it possible somehow?

Thanks, but the link you sent is requesting drag-and-drop from Outlook etc. into Salesforce. The solution I am hoping for is going in the opposite direction - I want to drag a PDF file from the Files Preview window in Salesforce INTO an email program or onto the desktop. Any ideas there?

@JP Hendrix. We are also having a similar scenario to download the file from Salesforce using drag and drop. But, it's just downloading the file icon, not the actual file. If you find any solution, please share here
