Using HTML skills in development

I have knowledge of HTML / CSS and some basics of JavaScript, where and how can I use this knowledge in developing on the Salesforce platform?
I know VisualForce and Lightnin Web Components use HTML. Am i right? What can you advise me, dear forum users
FYI: I do not know Java or Apex, for me it is difficult to learn programming languages.

Hi Nik, 

If you know front end technologies, you can take care of only user interface design in the salesforce. 

Salesforce platform consists of configuration and customization. In case if you want to switch your career to Salesforce, you need to learn apex coding which is similar to Java. Salesforce admins do configurations and automation and salesforce developers work on designing user interface, integrating third-party systems to Salesforce and other customizations. 

In addition to the current skillset, I recommend you to work on apex skills and become salesforce trailblazer. Our community is always glad to support you in all the ways.
