path settings are not availble for product object how to create path settings and how to show related lists using formula field

Hi,

Do you have record types on Product?

If yes, then you must have selected the appropriate record type too while creating the path settings.
Or if you have selected Master as record type, just cross-check if the master record type is added in the record types for Product in your profile.

Hi,

Greetings!

Firstly,You can create your own custom lightning path for your picklist for Standard and Custom Objects. Please check this blog (https://www.biswajeetsamal.com/blog/salesforce-lightning-custom-path-for-picklist-field/#:~:text=Now%20you%20can%20create%20your,specified%20by%20the%20picklistFieldApiName%20attribute.) for the sample code.

Secondly,You can't create the formula field on the parent Object to get the data from the child. However, you can use process builder or any other automation to achieve this requirement.

Kindly let me know if it helps you and close your query by marking it as best answer so that it can help others in the future.

Warm Regards,
Shirisha Pathuri

Hmm it appears path is not supported on Product2 yet. Hopefully Salesforce will get around to adding support for Product2.

Path is available for the following objects:
  • Accounts (business accounts and person accounts)
  • Campaigns
  • Cases
  • Contacts
  • Contracts
  • Fulfillment order
  • Leads
  • Opportunities
  • Orders
  • Quotes
  • Service appointments
  • Work orders
  • Work order line items
  • Custom objects
