lightning out gives "No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource" error even after whitelisting the domain in cors

I have a lightning web component. I need to use it in external website. I followed the steps given in salesforce help page. I have whitelisted the website into which I need my lwc to be added, in CORS. Still on loading the website I am getting "No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource". Issue is in sandbox. Any help is appreciated.

I haven’t checked in here for a while as I thought it was getting boring, but the last few posts are good quality so I guess I’ll add you back to my everyday blog list. You deserve it, my friend. The website which I am going to mention here you get all the latest game’s cheats codes and commands and hacks. For example, if you like “Xcom 2 game” then click here for Xcom 2 console commands (https://gtacheatcode.com/xcom-2-console-commands/) or you like “GTA 5 Game” then click here for New GTA 5 Cheats Xbox One and Xbox 360. And for more cheats and commands visit gtacheatcode.com. Thanks and with luck, I'll see you here shortly – Carl Johnson.
