Lookup filter isn't working when we lookup same object

Hello,
I have added a new field 'Parent Product' on Product object which should list all Products with 'isParent=TRUE'. But the Lookup filter isn't working. Is there something wrong in the configuration? (Classic Interface)

Can you check if  'isParent=TRUE' criteria are matched?

@Vinay - Yes and also same filter I have configured on Product field of Campaigns, it's working there. I am not sure if Salesforce is restricting since the Lookup field is on same Object.

Hi Amulya,

Can you check if there is any optional lookup filters allow users to save values that don't match the lookup filter criteria and Salesforce does not display an error message if a user tries to save such values.
