Hide record type to particular profile

Hi,
Standars credit user profile have full access on object A and the existing fields.Now there is scenario that a particular record type should not be visible in list view,search results and in reporting for particular profile.Is there a way to hide record type from user and this should not be visible in any other way ?

Please suggest

Hi, The user should have access to all record types except one so I locked at profile level and opened access to the one which don't have access thru Permission sets The object is set to private using OWD and grant using heirarchies. Here restriction rules don't work,sharing settings criteria rule doesn't work .I'm like stuck here My question is : Can we restrict particular user to not to see record type in list views and reports
