Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:  There was an unexpected error while verifying this challenge. Usually, this is due to some pre-existing configuration or code in the challenge Org. We recommend using a new Developer Edition (DE) to check this challenge. If you're using a new DE and seeing this error, please post to the developer forums and reference error id: HGSGLHNZ

Make sure that you have provided the correct Group Description.

Group Description: This group is for all Lusso Scarpe employees to collaborate and receive company announcements. All employees can join the group

Hi Ajay,

Greetings to you!

Make sure that you have done all the steps correctly. Because this error usually comes whenever you miss some or the other step.

If you are using reports and dashboards in this challenge, I suggest you please REFRESH THE DASHBOARDS before checking up the challenge.

If the problem still persists use a new Developer Org / Trailhead Playground for validating the challenge. If the problem persists, log out of all accounts and log in once again in a different browser by clearing the cache and cookies which should probably do the trick.

Also, this kind of error pops up due to renaming reports or dashboards label after creation or when you Clone dashboards. Thus for any further challenges: DO NOT CLONE Dashboards or Reports. Always create from scratch.

Try these steps:
  • Delete the existing dashboards/reports.
  • Delete it from the bin as well.
  • Create new dashboards/reports.
  • Refresh dashboards before checking up the challenge.
  • Check Challenge.

Hi Khan,

Thank you for your reply. But unfortunately, none among the steps you mentioned helped me through it. I am getting an error in Lightning Experience Rollout Specialist Checking: Challenge 6. This challenge doesn't include any Dashboards or reports. But it includes App pages, a Group, and an App. I have done the challenge again in a brand new developer edition org still no luck.
Please help.

Hi Khan,

You are a life-saver. That solved the error in a snap. Anyways why cant the error be shown as it is instead of giving the unknown error which complicates the user. Thank you so much.
