Getting this error when trying to complete a Trailhead challenge : BQEJQPJW
Can't complete the Create a Unique Account List View challenge.
I created a new DE but still getting an error.
"There was an unexpected error while verifying this challenge. Usually this is due to some pre-existing configuration or code in the challenge Org. We recommend using a new Developer Edition (DE) to check this challenge. If you're using a new DE and seeing this error, please post to the developer forums and reference error id: BQEJQPJW"

I have looked at your issue. Unfortunately, this error has been faced by a lot of people as you can check in the below link, yet it is still unfixed.

You can try these steps.
1- Delete/Undo the existing Challenge file/step
2- Delete it from the bin as well
3- Wait for 15 minutes
4- Try to Check Challenge the again
5- The original error should disappear and be replaced by a challenge related message that is understandable.
6- Now try to create/perform the deleted Challenge file/step. Make sure you don’t make any mistake in the name/API names.
