transfer salesforce account ownership to another salesforce account

Hello,
Is it possible to transfer ownership of a salesforce account to a different salesforce account? Actually I have a old account which have many records and I wanted to move that to another salesforce account.

In short wanted to merge old account with new one.

Thanks

Hi Kapil,

It is Possible to transfer Accounts from old org to a new one. (From one salesforce account to new one) in short, you need to integrate you both Orgs and for that, you need software known as 'ANY POINT studio'
You can download this from below link:

  https://www.mulesoft.com/lp/dl/studio

* Also Download Java(OPEN JDK 8) from below link:

  https://adoptopenjdk.net/?variant=openjdk8&jvmVariant=hotspot (https://adoptopenjdk.net/?variant=openjdk8&jvmVariant=hotspot)

* Please refer below link to integrate both of your Orgs to 'Anypoint studio'

I hope you find the above solution helpful. If it does, please mark as Best Answer to help others too.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Ajay,

Thanks for the response, but there must be an option to change ownership in salesforce itself. I'm looking for such a feature.
