How do i know Salesforce server url is redirecting to CAS/AD server url? Is there any open source tool/plugin/Salesforce CLI commands to track the status/progress?

How do we get access to Salesforce server?

We've enabled saml and established single sign on settings on salesforce side and exchange the metadata file and server crt on the other end. Both sides  saml is enabled and SSO settings are configured. We were not able to figure out why salesforce is not redirecting to AD server url
